To work with young people who have told us they want to improve the area or have shown interest in supporting a range of activities at the community centre and want to make a difference and also to inspire others within the community. Providing a weekly youth session to start to tackle the identified issues and through working with partner organisations we will look at organising activities and events that are relevant to these issues. This will involve young people becoming active citizens and taking a lead on developing their ideas and improving their own personal development and creating opportunities for them to access further training, volunteering, accreditation and education and a chance to lead on directing the work of Scholemoor Beacon into the future by inputting into the board of trustees and having a voice and influence. |
